Carol Starkey appointed to the House of Delegates of the ABA

Carol Starkey has been appointed by the governing Council of the Boston Bar Association (BBA) and the American Bar Association (ABA), for a two-year term as a member of the House of Delegates of the ABA.

She will represent the Boston Bar Assocation’s 13,000 members at the national Association. The House of Delegates, as the legislative body of the American Bar Association, formulates policy for the Association, adopts rules consistent with the Constitution and Bylaws, and is the ultimate governing body of the Association. The legal resolutions passed by the House of Delegates concern the legal profession, access to justice, civil rights and diversity & inclusion issues, and criminal and juvenile justice practice.
