Julien provides strategic counseling and zealous advocacy for clients in commercial litigation. He helps clients involved in breach of contract matters, violations of fiduciary duties, business torts, Chapter 93A, trade secret misappropriation, and violations of wage and hour laws. Additionally, Julien represents both insurers and insureds in complex insurance coverage disputes, including bad-faith claims.

Julien’s background includes practice as a criminal prosecutor, as well as civil litigation involving general liability, construction, and premises liability. Julien has tried 25 cases to verdict in front of a jury.

Julien is an avid runner and regularly participates in triathlons across New England. His lifelong passion is for soccer, which he has played his whole life right up to the present in men’s leagues all over Boston. Julien is a native French speaker, is conversational in Mandarin Chinese, and has a passion for world history and languages. He is an active member in the MGH Longfellow Group charity supporting the MGH psychiatry department.
