Conn Kavanaugh Expands Technology and Outsourcing Practice, Welcomes Partner Jeffrey R. Denman

Conn Kavanaugh is pleased to welcome Partner Jeffrey R. Denman

BOSTON, MA – On April 26, 2021, Jeffrey R. Denman joined Conn Kavanaugh as a partner, expanding the firm’s recently added technology and outsourcing practice group.

Jeff’s primary practice will focus on driving the business goals of his clients, representing software companies, developers, technology producers, or end-users purchasing a technology system or solution. He helps his clients to avoid common pitfalls and venture forward.

“We’re very excited to welcome Jeff to Conn Kavanaugh,” said the firm’s Managing Partner, Tom Gallitano, “as we continue to see tremendous growth in the firm’s technology and outsourcing practice.  Jeff’s professional background and depth of experience are a great addition to an already strong team.”

Jeff brings more than 25 years of experience representing some of the world’s largest software and technology companies, cloud services providers, technology consumers, and end-users to the firm. He combines years of “big law” training with corporate in-house experience to help clients navigate sophisticated commercial relationships while focusing on the ultimate business objective.

Technology and outsourcing practice group leader Dennis J. Gallitano recalls working opposite Jeff on a matter and “was very impressed with his working knowledge of technology transactions and the ability to negotiate win/win compromises, all essential components of what makes a terrific technology transactional lawyer.”

Prior to joining Conn Kavanaugh, Jeff had his own firm, Denman Law Group, in the Baltimore/Washington DC metropolitan area where he would act as technology and intellectual property transactions and counsel. Before founding Denman Law Group, Jeff worked as interim General Counsel for Virence Health Technologies (formerly GE Healthcare’s Value-Based Care division), and in-house at GE Healthcare’s Information Technology (HCIT) division, where he was the lead commercial transactions lawyer.

Jeff received his law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland.
