Jeff represents technology vendors and consumers with their most complex technology, outsourcing, and commercial transactions. Jeff regularly counsels clients on and negotiates licensing, SaaS, development and manufacturing, reseller and distribution, supply chain, collaboration, outsourcing, and technology services agreements, to name a few.
A reformed litigator, Jeff’s first foray in the technology world began as a simple favor to a friend starting a healthcare software company many years ago, ultimately becoming their outside general counsel. Over the next 25 years, Jeff represented a myriad of other technology companies, starting in the nascent “dot-com” days of the internet to more recently representing some of the world’s largest software companies and cloud service providers, now leading the way for the next generation of innovators. Jeff also has a particular expertise in health care technology transactions, due in no small part to many years leading transactions in-house with GE Healthcare, one of the world’s largest health information technology companies.
Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Jeff has maintained his roots to his local community throughout his career. He has served as a member of the Strategic Advisory Board of the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council (now the Maryland Tech Council), as an advisor with the Maryland Technology Development Corporation, and as a technology grant application reviewer with the University of Maryland’s Industrial Partner Program.
Outside of work, Jeff can be found boating on the Chesapeake, or on the golf course, with family and friends.
