Conn Kavanaugh Managing Partner Erin Higgins has been named Boston’s 2027 “Lawyer of the Year” for Legal Malpractice Law – Defendants by Best Lawyers®, marking the third time Erin has received this distinction, following honors in 2024 and 2025.

Managing Partner of the firm, Erin also chairs Conn Kavanaugh’s professional liability practice, where she represents lawyers, insurance agents, brokers, and other professionals in defending against errors and omissions claims. Having previously served a four-year term on the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers, she also advises lawyers on ethics issues and represents them in disciplinary matters.
