Erin Higgins was quoted in the article “BBA Files an Amicus Brief in Defense of Post-conviction Access to Forensic Testing,” which was published by the Boston Bar Association on April 18, 2019. The article is a news release from the Boston Bar Association regarding an amicus brief that was filed arguing that an individual who maintains his innocence should be allowed to seek forensic testing to help prove his claim of innocence, even after serving his sentence, where his liberty continues to be restrained by his duty to register as a sex offender.
