The other panelists were (left to right in photo): Kathleen Buck, VP of Claims for Minnesota Lawyers Mutual; Erin; Asa Shinkawa of Nishimura & Asahi, a global law firm headquartered in Tokyo; and Amy Fisher of McCarter & English, co-managing partner of the firm’s Indianapolis office. Erin shared her perspective as the managing partner of a smaller law firm, which was well-received as many of the firms participating in the conference were defense firms with fewer than 50 lawyers. Erin also spoke about Conn Kavanaugh’s big firm roots and how that enables her smaller firm to perform client work at a very high level.
