Conn Kavanaugh is pleased to announce that Colin T. Barrett has joined the firm as a partner, bringing significant litigation experience across the real estate, insurance, financial services, and professional services sectors.
Colin represents clients in a broad range of complex disputes, including contract actions, business torts, and claims under Massachusetts consumer protection law (G.L. c. 93A). His background includes litigating coverage disputes and bad faith claims, broker liability matters, and high-stakes commercial real estate disputes, including first-chair trial experience in a multi-million-dollar real estate case.
Colin earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and his bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and, most recently, Connecticut. Outside of the office, Colin enjoys skiing, obstacle course racing, and serving as his family’s chef. He can often be found courtside cheering for his kids’ sports teams.
