Conn Kavanaugh partner Andrew R. Dennington has been elected Chair of the Southborough Select Board for the term ending May 14, 2024

Andrew continues a proud tradition of Conn Kavanaugh attorneys serving as leaders both in the bar and also their local communities.

Andrew first began public service for the Town of Southborough as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals in 2014, which he then chaired from 2016 to 2018.  He went on to serve on the Town’s Advisory Committee for two years, before being elected by voters to the Select Board in 2021.

The Select Board is the executive branch of the town government invested with several important statutory responsibilities, including preparing the town meeting agenda and making appointments to other town boards and offices.  The Select Board also sets overall policy and strategic direction for the town, particularly in public works, public safety, economic development, administration, and finance.

Andrew has practiced at Conn Kavanaugh since 2006, serving as a partner at the firm since 2015.  He is a litigator and trial lawyer with a track record of successfully resolving complex commercial disputes for his clients.  His representative matters including real estate and land use matters, professional liability disputes, wage/hour and discrimination claims, and claims involving broker-dealers and investment advisors.
