On Wednesday, January 27, 2021, Conn Kavanaugh participated in Equal Justice Coalition’s annual event “Walk to the Hill for Civil Legal Aid.” However, this year’s event looked a little different and was aptly named “Talk to the Hill” so that participants could attend virtually and prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Conn Kavanaugh team was led by captain Thomas Stirrat.
About Equal Justice Coalition
The Equal Justice Coalition advocates for expanded access to civil legal aid for low-income Massachusetts residents. The Coalition includes bar associations, law firms, law schools, legal aid organizations, and social service agencies who work together to protect and increase the state appropriation for civil legal aid (budget line item 0321-1600, Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation).
