Jennifer D. Taddeo was a co-chair of the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education Two-Day Program titled “Estate Planning: MCLE BasicsPlus!® – Learn the law and acquire skills to be successful,” which was held on Monday, October 21 – Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at the MCLE Conference Center in Boston. The program gave practitioners a solid foundation in the skillset and tools necessary to establish a successful estate planning practice. Attendees received advice on how to prepare wills, trusts, health care proxies, and powers of attorney based on a client’s financial situation. They gained tips on how to conduct client meetings and how to navigate common ethical issues in estate planning. Attendees also received an introduction to a variety of issues that are essential for an estate planner, including transfer tax issues and elder law issues.
Additionally, Jennifer presented during the panels “Introduction to Intestacy and Basic Estate Planning Documents,” and “The Estate Planning Process.” Partner Erin Higgins presented “Ethical Issues in Estate Planning.”Share with your network:
