Conn Kavanaugh managing partner Erin Higgins and litigation partner Kurt Fliegauf will participate in the MCLE live webcast Captivate the Courtroom: Holding the Jury’s Attention on March 11, 2026.
Erin will serve as chair of the program, which brings together six accomplished trial lawyers to share insights and practical strategies for keeping jurors engaged throughout each phase of trial, from opening statements through closing arguments. Kurt will join the panel to offer perspectives drawn from his extensive trial experience on how advocates can connect with jurors and present persuasive, memorable cases.
The program will also feature remarks from Superior Court Justice Debra Squires-Lee on what trial lawyers should understand about juries, as well as guidance from Magna Legal Services on the effective use of demonstratives at trial.
