In law school, Dayana worked closely with the Dean of Students Office to better the community. As the former SBA Director of Diversity and Inclusion, Dayana helped spark conversation concerning the law school experience for minority students. She served as Suffolk’s Student Bar Association President and was nominated by the university to receive the National Jurist Law Student of the Year award in 2021. As a member of the Suffolk University Prosecutors Program Clinic, Dayana assisted attorneys in both Middlesex County and Suffolk County District Attorneys’ offices. She also interned with the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General and Lawyers for Civil Rights.
Dayana served two years in Notre Dame Mission Volunteers AmeriCorps in Baltimore City, and in Brookline Massachusetts. In her spare time, Dayana enjoys mentoring aspiring black women professionals and traveling-with a goal to go to all continents.
